Won Best Picture and Best Performance at a 24-hour Film Contest in Livermore

This short film was produced in less than 24 hours by a crew of 5 people.  The purpose was for the Filmmaker Frenzy 2012 contest in Livermore where we won First Place & Best Picture against 24 teams from the surrounding area.  Further, the leading role Rocio Ramirez won Best Performance that includes an opportunity to have a speaking role in a feature film to be produced this December.

Production at a 24-Hour Film Contest Screening on May 17th in Livermore, Hayward, then San Jose for Post

We participated in the Filmmaker Frenzy 24-hour filmmaking contest last weekend. Our film will be screening at the theater among 24 or so other films in the Vine Cinema & Alehouse in Livermore. Showtime is on Thursday, May 17th at 7:00pm.

This was my second 24-hour film contest as producer, editor, and co-writer. It was the first time for the rest of the team to participate. Each team member offered their specialized skills (directing, cinematography, acting, music composing) to the table, which was one of the main reasons the process towards completion of the film was such as success. I am quite proud of the results. You’re welcome to come watch and support us. http://www.vinecinema.com/specialevents.html
